Maggie + Mike || Same Day Edit || Vancouver, B.C.
We first met with Mike and Maggie in April to go over some of their wedding plans and ideas and could not wait for this day to come.
Both Mike and Maggie were so much fun to be around and you could instantly tell that they were loved by a lot of people, and not just because they had nine bridesmaids and nine groomsmen.
A couple of our favorites shots in this video have to be when Maggie and Mike are reading the letters that they wrote for each other. Both their faces scream out the emotions they are feeling and it really "captures the moment" and feeling they have for one another. Another has to be when we captured Mike smiling as Maggie entered the Church and Mike got to see her in her dress. What a perfect day!
We also got to work with some great people during this shoot. Check out some amazing photography by Butterfly Photography, and some beautiful makeup done by Richelle Newson and Joelle Mckenzie.
Enjoy the Video!

Shawn + Shawna || Highlight Video || "The Tunnel"
When we first spoke with Shawn and Shawna about what they had planned for their wedding day two words screamed out to us..."Graffiti" and "Tunnel". Needless to say, this was a wedding we could not wait to film!
One of my favorite moments in this video has to be when the Officiant says "you may kiss the bride" and instantly both Shawn and Shawna reveal all the anticipation that had been building up throughout the day and letting it all out at that very moment.
We also have to mention something about the dresses that were worn in this video. Shawna actually made them herself and they are absolutely stunning. We really had a lot of fun on this shoot and can't thank Shawn and Shawna enough for allowing us to be a part of something so incredibly unique. Enjoy the video!

Brian + Avalon || August 14th, 2010 || Sidney, B.C.
I have to admit that editing this video was not easy. Mainly because there was so much that happened at this wedding and we had so much amazing footage that it was very hard to choose what highlights to put in it.
In fact, for those who are not yet married, you should consider hiring a Videographer as so much can happen during the course of the day, which can sometimes be to much to absorb.
That is why we are very happy to have been there to capture all of Brian and Avalon's wedding day. Fireworks, boats, town cryers....it was a very fun, eventful and beautiful day. Congratulations Brian and Avalon, you two are AMAZING!
Oh, and if you are looking for a wedding planner in Victoria, you should look no further as we had the opportunity to work with Candace and Holly of Tie the Knot Victoria and they really do some beautiful work!

Irene + Jeffrey || August 1st, 2010 || Victoria, B.C.
When we first spoke to Irene and found out we were going to have the opportunity to film both a Tea Ceremony and Wedding we got very excited. Of course, the beauty of the Tea Ceremony and Wedding day alone is one thing, but Irene really stole the show with her two beautiful dresses which you will see in the video. Both Irene and Jeffrey are such nice people and were so excited to get married.
We also got to work with the very talented photographer Lisa Gratton. You can check out some of her work here.
Finally, without further ado, check out Irene and Jeffrey's video below!

Elissa + Priyesh || Same-Day Edit & Love Story
Elissa and Priyesh currently live in Australia but hopefully they someday move to Vancouver as they are two of the nicest people we have ever met. We first met them to film their Love Story and to discuss some ideas for filming. After we were done we realized how nice it was visiting with them as their entire family are all very amazing people.
Love stories have to be one of the funnest things to film as it allows us to expand our creativity, and really get to know the Bride and Groom. We interview the couple and ask them some of the same questions which really brings out their personalities, ultimately allowing us to create a film that we feel really reflects who they are.
There are two weddings shown in this Same-day Edit. The first one you will see is a Nepalese Wedding Ceremony. Watch the Same-day Edit video and the Love Story video below.
Feel free to leave any comments!
Enjoy!

Anna + Matthew Highlights || Victoria, B.C.
Before Anna and Matthew’s wedding day we spent much of our time trying to choose a song for their wedding trailer. Although we had a few choices in mind, we could not help but recognize that this was truly a tender and touching day. From the 100 year old chapel they got married in, the breath-taking scenery at the parliament buildings in Victoria, and the gorgeous decorations at the reception, the thoughtful love and care that was emphasized in every detail was stunning.
The funny thing is that the song was an obvious choice. “Make you feel my love” by Adele, one of our favorites, was the song they had chosen for their first dance as husband and wife. We have been waiting for the opportunity to use this song and feel there could be no better fit.
Lastly, we wanted to mention the two amazing photographers we had the opportunity to work alongside, Georgie Wilson from Georgie Wilson Photography and Laura Taylor from Taylored Photography. These two were both so much fun to work with and if you are looking for a photographer in the Victoria area we highly recommend them! And of course we cannot forget the beautiful makeup artistry applied behind the scenes, done by Melanie Baird. You can check out some of her work on her website by clicking here.

Stay Tuned...
Mathew and I have been on the road almost every weekend for the past while meeting with couples to discuss their wedding as well as preparing to film some upcoming weddings in Vancouver and Victoria. Unfortunately our time away from home has limited our time to blog. So lets get back to it!
Three Wednesday’s ago we got the opportunity to go to Victoria, B.C. to film Matthew and Anna’s Wedding. As eager as we are to show you all the highlight video, we want to make sure we perfect it before showing it to the world! However, we thought it would be fun to show you some still images from the movie. Check out the photos below and stay tuned for the video sometime soon!

Laura + Andrew || Vancouver Wedding || SDE
The story behind Laura's dress is a symbol of how perfectly this wedding came together. Last October Laura tried on this dress but decided she would wait. Months later she found another dress but only days before the big day she was told it would not be ready in time. Now if one believes in fate, then one would know that the dress from October was still there waiting for her and she looked absolutely stunning.
Andrew had to be the happiest guy we have ever seen. Always having a smile on his face, it was so much fun filming him and Laura.
We also definitely can't complain about the breath taking location that is Hycroft Manor. The ceremony, which took place on the terrace, overlooking the mountains and city that is Vancouver, was perfection.
It was also a lot of fun working with Christine of c.williams photography. This was our first time working alongside Christine and we are really looking forward to the next as she does an amazing job!
